2008 - Jarl Leslie Tulloch

The 2008 Festival took place on 29th February

This year's Guizer Jarl was Leslie Tulloch from Ceilidh. Leslie took on the role of Hakon Ivarsson for the festival. Leslie has been involved in Up Helly Aa since he was old enough to walk, and it was fitting that he'd be guizer Jarl at a young age. Leslie and his squad were always in good cheer, and it will certainly go down as a festival to remember.
