Hansie & Cissy's Silver Wedding

In celebration of 25 years with Hansie & Cissy at Up Helly Aa, their silver wedding was held in the Cullivoe Hall on the 30th October 2010. The night started with guests being welcomed with a dram at the door, before sitting down to a meal consisting of a soup starter, then a selection of mutton & bannocks, boiled haddock and rabbit stew. After the delicious meal, we heard speeches from the Bridal Party, best men, Keith Nisbet and a long time visiting French Tourist. Afterwards the night was danced away with the very talented band - The Wasterfirth Waltzers - playing strong til nearly 4am.
