1999 - Jarl Brian Thomson
The 1999 Festival took place on 26th February
This year's Guizer Jarl was Brian Thomson from Uphouse in sellafirth, the first Sellafirth Jarl since 1973. Brian took on the role of Sigumund Bresterson for the event. Brian Led his troops to Up Helly Aa for the last festival of the millennium.
